Trinity Kitchen just got five reasons to skip lunch at your desk this summer

Trinity Kitchen has a new line-up of street food vendors for summer, running from Monday 27 July to Sunday 27 September alongside its permanent eateries, Archie’s, Pho, Rola Wala, Thatziki and Jerk Junction.

New to Trinity Kitchen is Hoi Polloi, bringing Singaporean hawker food to Leeds with halal chicken dishes including chicken satay glazed in a spicy peanut sauce, and a traditional chicken rice set served with chicken broth, a pickle tray and a drink. Sides include pak choi and a sambal chilli sauce, with banana pie and coconut jelly for dessert.

Also new is Hermanos Caliente, serving gluten-free Mexican tacos — from birria tacos with a rich dipping consommé to slow-cooked pork carnitas infused with citrus and Mexican herbs and spices. Vegetarians get the Baja Shroom: crispy buttermilk-fried oyster mushrooms topped with curtido slaw, chipotle ranch and fresh garnishes.

Hot Butter, the third newcomer, serves American-style comfort food — Philly cheesesteaks, crispy chicken wings and loaded fries. Returning crowd favourite Doles Dirty Bags brings back its Irish-inspired spice bags, packed with crispy seasoned chicken, golden fries, sautéed peppers and onions, with a choice of sauces and meat-free options in tofu or vegan chicken. Rounding off the line-up is 7 Star Flag, serving Venezuelan arepas — golden corn flatbreads filled with everything from slow-cooked meats to charred halloumi.

Josie Towning, food and beverage manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Trinity Kitchen is a place where friends, families and colleagues can come together to discover exciting street food from around the world, all under one roof. We’re proud to continue bringing a diverse mix of flavours to Leeds, from exciting new vendors to foodie favourites that our guests know and love.”
