Bake Off star brings chocolate workshops to Trinity Leeds this August

Trinity Leeds is hosting a series of family chocolate workshops this summer with Bake Off: The Professionals contestant Oliver Dunn, also known as Oli the Choc.

The child-friendly, hands-on workshops give aspiring young chocolatiers the chance to learn new techniques from one of the UK’s top talents, with children able to take home their finished chocolate creations afterwards. Sessions are available to book on 11, 18, 24 and 25 August.

As part of the experience, guests can also take part in The Great Chocolate Challenge — sharing a photo of their finished creation via a QR code for the chance to win a £100 Trinity Leeds gift card.

Craftsmanship and passion

Steven Foster, centre director at Trinity Leeds, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Oliver Dunn to Trinity Leeds this summer for a series of exclusive chocolate workshops. With his expert craftsmanship and passion for chocolate, it’s a fantastic opportunity for chocolate lovers to learn from the very best.”

He added: “With many more fun, family-friendly activities taking place at Trinity Leeds over the holidays, we’re looking forward to welcoming guests for a summer filled with creativity and entertainment.”

The chocolate workshops form part of Trinity Leeds’ wider programme of summer activities, which also includes free Craft Club sessions running daily throughout August in The Study, and a city-wide Trivial Pursuit challenge under the main atrium.

The chocolate workshops are ticketed and can be booked via Eventbrite; the Craft Club sessions are free to attend. More information is available at trinityleeds.com.
