White Rose launches free Halloween Pumpkin Trail for October half term

White Rose Shopping Centre is running a free Halloween pumpkin trail this half term, from Friday 23 to Saturday 31 October, challenging families to track down 12 pumpkins hidden in shop windows across the centre.

Families collect a map from either Guest Services or one of the centre’s entrance points, then hand back a completed map during opening hours to claim a sweet treat — an indoor activity organisers are pitching as a good option whatever the weather. Shops taking part include Primark, New Look, Waterstones and Joe Browns, among others.

Beyond the trail, the Central Atrium is being dressed up for the season with skeletons, gargoyles and other Halloween decor, offering a backdrop for costume photos, while Bella Italia and TGI Fridays run kids-eat-free deals over the half term alongside seasonal menus elsewhere in the centre.

Ashleigh Kellett, Deputy Centre Director at White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “Halloween is always a fun time of year, so we’re pleased to share another free activity for families to enjoy this October half term. Rain or shine, it’s sure to be a fa-boo-lous spooky season at White Rose.”

White Rose is home to more than 100 stores, plus leisure attractions such as the Volcano Falls mini-golf course and King Pins bowling alley, and dining ranging from newer additions Rassam’s and the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser Café to established names like Frankster’s, Five Guys and Wingstop, with over 5,000 free parking spaces on site. Shoppers wanting advance notice of future White Rose news and events can sign up free to its PLUS scheme.
