South Yorkshire Police has released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a reported sexual assault in Sheffield city centre.
Police say it was reported that a man sexually assaulted a girl on Fargate on 30 July, at around 1.15pm, before walking away. The incident was reported to police shortly afterwards, and the victim is receiving support through officers and other services.
Having pursued several lines of enquiry, including reviewing nearby CCTV footage, officers are now releasing an image of a man they believe may hold information relevant to the investigation.
He is described as white, elderly, with short grey hair, and was wearing a blue striped shirt at the time.
