Gotham’s unlikely hero swoops into Darley Street Market this August, when The Lego Batman Movie joins three more free family films for a month of Wednesday screenings in the Courtyard.
Presented by the City of Film team, the Bradford Family Film Festival brings a selection of family favourites to the big screen, with free screenings running from 11am to 1pm every Wednesday throughout August.
The programme opens on Wednesday 5 August with Hoppers, a family-friendly animated adventure following a young animal lover. On Wednesday 12 August, Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach brings James’s journey aboard a giant peach, alongside a group of extraordinary insect friends, to the big screen.
The Lego Batman Movie follows on Wednesday 19 August, with a family-friendly silent disco in the Courtyard after the screening — further details to be announced. The festival closes on Wednesday 26 August with Horton Hears a Who!, based on the Dr Seuss classic, following Horton the elephant as he sets out to protect a tiny hidden world.
