We’re keeping an eye on Yorkshire’s YouTubers, and every now and again we’ll bring you a selection of their most-watched videos, ranked by views.
Ten this time, from a man attempting to out-eat a giant doner kebab to a bloke racing a motorised pickle down a hill. We watched the lot.
We’d encourage you to do the same — it’s a considerably better use of an evening than doomscrolling AI slop.
1. Beard Meats Food — 4.1m views Only one person has ever beaten this giant doner kebab challenge Leeds’s finest continues his one-man mission to make competitive eating look like an extreme sport, and honestly, at this scale, it basically is. The video’s racked up 4.1 million views — a man attempting to out-eat a doner kebab, watched more times than most local news broadcasts manage in a year.
2. SB737 — 794k views I got Notch armour in Minecraft Hardcore North Yorkshire’s Daniel Cockett is still surviving Minecraft one terrifying day at a time, and if “Notch armour” means nothing to you, just know that to his 1.2 million subscribers, this is basically breaking news.
3. OUTLORE with Eleanor Neale — 389k views The hunt for Natalie McNally’s killer exposed a six-hour lie Leeds’s true crime powerhouse, rebranded from her own name to OUTLORE last year as the operation grew into a full production team. Still the same meticulous, respectful long-form storytelling that built her nearly three million subscribers in the first place.
4. Danny vs Food — 207k views I try the UK’s best chippy Barnsley’s Danny Malin, back on the camping-chair-and-fold-out-table beat after his very public split from Rate My Takeaway, doing what he does best: judging a chip shop like it owes him money.
5. TPD TV — 69k views The good, the bad and the ugly of Tomorrowland 2026 Yorkshire’s festival crew were out in Belgium putting a very Yorkshire lens on one of Europe’s biggest dance music events. Their own channel bio still bills them as “YouTube’s biggest underdogs” — somehow it works every time.
6. Rachel Oates — 42k views Onision gets creepy about kids in his new books Leeds-based Rachel Oates back on her usual beat: reading the internet’s worst behaviour so you don’t have to, this time turning her attention to a self-published author with a long-documented history of controversy.
7. Kids Invent Stuff — 18k views We raced a pickle with Colin Furze Sheffield engineer Ruth Amos, alongside co-host Shawn Brown, teamed up with fellow YouTube legend Colin Furze to race a motorised pickle. No further explanation available, or really necessary.
8. Mr and Mrs Yorkshire — 13k views I hired a shed for baby’s first day out Danny Malin’s other channel, run with wife Sophie Mei Lan, chronicling family life across Yorkshire — this time involving a shed, a baby, and presumably a great deal of chaos.
9. Yorkshire Car Restoration — 11k views Scanning the Sema Datsun with the Revpoint MetroX Ultra Doncaster’s Steve and Ryan Garbutt bringing serious kit to a classic Datsun restoration — nothing says father-and-son bonding quite like turning up to the workshop with a 3D scanner.
10. Yammy — 1.8k views These Roblox ASMR games are worse than you think A rare quiet month for one of Leeds’s biggest gaming exports — this one’s a slow-burner rather than a chart-topper, but if you’ve ever wondered what “Roblox ASMR” even is, apparently the answer is worse than you’re imagining.
Have we missed your favourite?
We’ve been quietly building this list for a while now, and we’re not done. If you know a Yorkshire-born or Yorkshire-based creator putting out videos worth watching — big or small, wholesome or unhinged — we want to hear about it. Drop us the channel name and we’ll add it to the watchlist for next month.
