Ruth Badger, runner-up on BBC’s The Apprentice, is relaunching her Badger Sett Enterprise Challenge for young people across Hull, the East Riding and Scarborough.
Run in partnership with the Microbusiness Alliance, Hull City Council and the John Cracknell Youth Enterprise Bank, the challenge is open to anyone from primary school age up to 29, who can enter an idea for a new business, co-operative, community project, or school or college enterprise project.
Prizes are worth up to £500 for primary school entrants, up to £750 for those aged 11 to 18, and up to £1,000 for those aged 18 to 29. Category winners will then go head-to-head in an attempt to double their winnings during Global Entrepreneurship Week, 16–20 November.
Badger said: “I am very passionate about enterprise and ensuring young people can engage in it.”
